“I was astounded when I first saw our precious moment capturing castings that were done of our 3 year old and our 6 month old. I had never seen anything like them before. We have the castings displayed on our bookshelf in our living room and everyone always comments how beautiful they are. It is the most sentimental gift you could give to anyone. We gave the boys’ Grandma a casting and she was so moved by it that she had tears of joy streaming down her face when she opened it. We were also very impressed with the amazing customer service that Pulse—Lifecasting provides. Doing the castings were very convenient because they came to our house and catered to our schedule. Paula was so nice and a pleasure to work with. We are planning on doing many more castings in the near future!”
“We are so pleased with the lifecasting you have done of our dogs’ paws. They look wonderful— so lifelike, rich colors, and beautiful finish. We were amazed with your personal touch (personally delivering the final product), and our dogs certainly loved meeting you. The paws will be prominently displayed in our home. Again, thank you.”
—Julie & Ricardo
“Everyone loves the casting!
Thank you so much!”

“When my son passed away fifteen days after he was born, my wife and I decided that we wanted to preserve replicas of his hands and feet. Paula at Pulse—Lifecasting was willing to work within the time constraints of the funeral, travel to Frederick where the funeral home was, and was unfailingly considerate and compassionate in our time grief. The final result is beautiful, tasteful, and more tangible that a mere photo. I would not hesitate to recommend her services to a friend.”
“I love Pepper’s cast. The sculpture is wonderful. The detail is amazing. Thank you so much. She really didn’t mind because she got all sorts of pets and lovings. Probably felt funny on her foot. We are sad we didn’t get one for our other hounds when we had them.”
“I can’t begin to tell you how much Becky, Bob and I appreciate “the golden hands” interlocked forever. It is absolutely beautiful. The detail and the golden finish are perfect. What a wonderful gift to pass on to future generations. Thanks, thanks, thanks!!!”
“That is so neat looking, (daughter’s face). Thank you so much. It was a pleasure meeting and working with you.”
“Thank goodness I found Paula. I have been searching for so long online for a place/ person with this kind of service but had no luck until my infant was 6 months old. I can’t describe how excited I was when I finally scheduled an appointment with her. Paula is the sweetest lady and very creative. She knows what she is doing and finds ways to make the final product look better. If she thinks it can look even better she will go out of her way to make it happen. The joy I felt receiving my baby’s sculpted hand and foot enclosed in a dome I can still feel every time I look at it. I was so worried that my baby was growing so fast and was starting to forget how small he was, but thanks to Paula from Pulse—Lifecasting, I have something that time won’t change. My baby will grow but his baby hand and foot will be with me forever. I will be calling Paula again.
Thank you Pulse—Lifecasting!”

“Paula is wonderful to work with! So friendly, creative, fun, and flexible.
The process of casting was as much of a gift as the final products,
which are simply beautiful.”
“This was so cool… you’ve got to have a casting made with Pulse—Lifecasting! Paula comes to you, is super fun to work with, and cleans up after herself so well you never knew she was here (coming from the OCD cleaning company owner!!!) This is a wonderful and unique wedding memory for us.
Thank you again so so much for such a fun experience!!!”

“Absolutely gorgeous. They are perfect. Thank you so much for bringing your skilled craftsmanship to Dewey. They mean so much to me. So precious to have my Whippets paws; one day when my Whippets are gone this will be the closest thing I will have of them. Their exact paws. They are more beautiful in life. Thank you Paula.”
“I first saw ‘family casting’ on the internet, and I knew I wanted this for my family. I was then delighted to find Paula, who was right here in Baltimore. She made the process very easy for us by coming to our home and bringing literally EVERYTHING needed (including an ideal little table) to make this work. I have a wiggling 9-year-old son, and he was very intrigued by the process (as we were we), and in no time we were finished. Paula was great about sharing the various stages with me through photos and patient with me when I couldn’t quite make up my mind about our finish. We’ve placed the piece prominently in our home, and I now sit in a different spot on this couch, so I can just gaze at the piece from afar. While the constant compliments we receiving about how unique and stunningly beautiful the end product is are nice, it is truly the visual representation of the bond that our family has that means so much to me. I truly cherish this piece and can’t recommend it enough.”

“What a fun experience! The casting of my hand holding my favorite fountain pen is just perfect for a writer.
Paula was a great guide, slowly walking me through the casting process step by step. She styled the perfect pose to fit the pen and to showcase the look I was after. Her gentleness as she slipped my hand into the alginate and held it in place made the casting so easy for me. It only took a few minutes, and there was virtually no cleanup.
I’m very pleased with my casting. So nice to have Paula—calm, encouraging, and expert at her art—make such a precious trophy for me.” —Cathy Conner Lips
“Our Family is a circle of strength and love. It looks amazing!! I’m so happy there’s so much detail! We absolutely love it!! Amazing job!!”
“I wanted to give my husband a very special gift and we both are so happy with the paw Paula cast of his most beloved dog. Paula was wonderful and so easy to work with and made the whole experience very memorable. She was extremely flexible, professional and well organized. The finished project was even more beautiful that I anticipated and my husband will treasure it forever. I can’t think Paula enough for creating this unique and lasting memory!”
“It looks GREAT!!!!!”
“Paula, I just wanted to again express our appreciation for the art you made of our hands. It was kind of you to travel so far for us. We were glad for your patience during the molding process when we had the mishap of one of our hands against the container. Thankfully you noticed this and remolded right away. The pictures taken during the process were also fun. Our kids liked helping pick out the finishes and mounting plaque stain.
The kids were as excited as I was for the delivery of my Birthday present. I must say this was the best birthday present ever.
Paula, the finished art you made of our hands is exquisite. The wreath of family hands is a focal point in our family room. It is flanked by our sculptures of me holding my daughter’s hand and the other holding my son’s hand. These memories are precious, as the kids keep growing and won’t likely let me hold their hands forever. I will treasure this art forever!”
“Thank you so much for this! I am so grateful for such a beautiful memory to commemorate his 5th Gotcha Day! It’s just beautiful and so unique, and I’m so thankful for the time and effort you put into this and every piece you create. Thank you!”
“I’m excited to see (it).
I love it!!
“I loved that you let me pick the pose. I’ve been flashing the peace sign since the late 60s, and now I’ve captured it for all time. A message I can display with pride.”

“I love Pulse—Lifecasting! I have 2 pieces in bronze and everyone comments on them. My nieces love to hold my cupped hands and feel how life-like they are … However, my hand making the “peace sign” is their favorite! These pieces are a work of art, a conversation piece and a sentimental favorite that my family will treasure forever. Thank you. Thank you!”
